SEO without a monthly retainer
I do one considered rework of your website and Google Business Profile for a fixed fee, from $1,500 CAD. When it is done, it is done: no monthly bill and no contract to cancel.
Why most SEO is sold monthly
Retainers suit agencies: steady income and a team to keep busy. For a small business they often mean paying every month without a clear picture of what changed. Much of what a small business site needs is a fixed list of work, so it can be scoped, priced and finished.
What a one-time engagement covers
- Technical fixes so Google can find, read and index every important page.
- Structured data that tells search engines and AI tools what you offer and where.
- A Google Business Profile set up with the right categories, services and areas.
- A FAQ page answering the questions buyers ask before they call.
- In the Site Rework and Growth, rewrites of your key pages, and in Growth, four new pages or posts.
- A before-and-after report in plain language, so you can see what changed.
What it is not
It is not ongoing content, paid ads or link buying, and it comes with no ranking promise. If you later want more pages written, I quote that as its own piece of work.
How it runs
We start with a free 20-minute review. If it is a fit, you get a written scope and price. I make every change myself in your website editor after you approve the copy, and we finish with a call to walk through the report. See the three engagements and their prices.
Questions
Can SEO really be done once?
The foundations can: a site Google and AI tools can read, clear pages for what you sell, structured data and a well set-up Google Business Profile. Those keep working after the engagement. What needs ongoing effort is new content and reviews, and I leave you a simple plan for both.
What happens after the engagement ends?
You keep everything. The changes live on your own site and profile. Growth includes a re-check at 90 days; otherwise you can come back for more work whenever you like, quoted separately.
Will my rankings drop if I stop paying?
No. There is nothing to switch off. Rankings move for many reasons, such as competitors and Google updates, but none of the work is held back or removed.

A private review of how Google and AI see you.
Answer four quick questions. I'll run the questions your buyers ask through Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, then walk you through what I find. No pitch deck, no contract.
